What size are the wood samples?
Each sample is approximately 4″ x 6″ and cut from solid hardwood.
Do you offer samples for all your products?
We offer samples for most of our commonly stocked hardwoods. If you don’t see a species listed, contact us to check availability.
Can I order multiple samples?
Yes. You can order as many samples as you need to compare species and finishes.
Can I apply stain or finish to my sample?
Yes. We encourage you to test your intended finish on the sample before applying it to your full project.
Are these samples finished or unfinished?
Our samples are typically unfinished so you can see the raw wood color. This also allows you to test stains or finishes.
Will my full order match the sample exactly?
Wood is a natural material, so some variation in grain and color is normal. However, your full order will closely match the species and grade of your sample.
